Christie's Auction Rooms

During his lifetime BG Windus sold his paintings at Christie's in 1842, 1853, 1859 and 1862 and also at Sotheby's.  The year after his death in 1867  his collection of paintings and drawings, along with household goods including furniture, were  sold at Christie's and his books were sold at Sotheby's.
