Finden's Life and Work of Lord Byron

BG Windus owned 18 vignettes made by JMW Turner for Finden's Life and Work of Lord Byron. 
​These were noted in William Robinson's History and Antiquities of the Parish of Tottenham 1840, as 'very fine'

Where it has not been possible to obtain images of the original painting, we have added engravings.
The vignettes from Finden's Life and Work of Lord Byron, which were believed to be in the Windus Collection, are shown above.
They are Wilton numbers 1217, 1219 - 35?
