Sir Walter Scott

BG Windus owned 67 of the drawings made by JMW Turner for Cadell's  Works and Life of Sir Walter Scott.
These were noted in William Robinson's History and Antiquities of the Parish of Tottenham 1840, as
'a most beautiful and interesting series'

Where it has not been possible to obtain images of the original painting, we have added engravings.
